Kafubu River Lodge is the first in the Congo Star Safaris portfolio, and offers guest from Lubumbashi and its surrounding area a tranquil setting for a great bush break away. Whether its family and friends, corporate workshops, or private functions, our facilities are built to provide the perfect environment for our guests to do what they want to do when they want to.

The lodge rests at the confluence of the Kiswishi and Kafubu Rivers in the Haut-Katanga District of the Katanga Province well-known for the richest copper and cobalt reserves in the world.

Situated on a 10,000 Ha preserve with beautiful and unspoiled woodland bush where Congo Star Safaris wants to embark on relocating game in the near future. The broad-leaved woodland and riverine forests offers some of the most amazing birding habitat, with many special and rare bird species recorded to date.

The lodge is accessible by 4 x 4 vehicle or air conditioned mini bus. Our dry season is May - October, with the rainy season being in November to April.
